Carlos Perez, President
A native Californian and the son of a painting contractor – Carlos grew up in the construction industry. As a teenager he began working with his father learning every aspect of the family business. Eventually, seeing an opportunity to set out on his own, he built a successful company that specialized in drywall, molding and stucco.
In 2001, Carlos, together with his brother, expanded the capabilities of his company into a full service general contracting firm that provided residential and commercial building and remodeling services.
Carlos’ association with Masterworks began over thirty years ago when company founder Bill Leisy hired Carlos as a drywall sub-contractor. Seeing his expertise, quality of craftsmanship and passion for customer satisfaction that he himself valued, Bill entrusted Carlos with a broader range of responsibilities; eventually leading to Carlos’ role as Masterworks Project Manager. As Project Manager and Bill’s right hand, Carlos supervised every aspect of Masterwork’s working project portfolio, while at the same time managing his own company’s projects.
In 2022, upon founder Bill Leisy’s retirement and with Bill’s confident encouragement, Carlos proudly assumed ownership of Masterworks Construction Services and the role of President.
Carlos truly loves sharing his decades of experience and expertise with clients; helping them make their vision a reality.

Carlos Perez Jr, Project Manager
The son of Masterworks President Carlos Perez, Carlos Jr. grew-up within the family’s construction businesses and for close to a decade he has worked side by side with his father learning every aspect of the construction industry.
First, as a driver making deliveries and then gaining expertise in several trades – from drywall and painting to framing and design.
As Project Manager, he is a welcome and familiar face to our clients at the job site. Managing many of our projects, supervising field crews and trade partners; he brings his diverse abilities and expertise to every job and takes pride in exceeding client satisfaction and completing projects on time.
Nadya Tinoco, Finance Manager
For close to twenty years Nadya has worked with her Uncle Carlos Perez, President of Masterworks, and within her family’s various construction companies. With a background in banking and office administration she has become a vital part of Masterworks success and is the backbone of the office and finance side of the business. She is responsible for all the financial systems and obligations at Masterworks, such as: job costing, account billing, collections, financing, and production.
She, like the rest of the Masterworks family, truly believes that maintaining efficient and accurate business processes supports Masterworks ability to maintain exemplary client satisfaction.
Nadya is a graduate of the University of Miami.
Elizabeth A. Perez, Office Manager
Eldest daughter of Carlos Perez, President of Masterworks, Elizabeth is often the first point of contact for our clients and is vital in keeping the daily office operations running smoothly. A detail oriented and organized problem solver, she oversees general office administration, marketing, scheduling and the crucial communication link between office, field staff, trade partners and clients that help keep projects on time and on budget.
Elizabeth is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton.
The Field Crew
Our field crew is the backbone of Masterworks. They are the ones that truly “transform your environment”. Each crew member has a minimum of four years experience in construction and takes pride in the quality and craftsmanship of his work from wall framing to finish carpentry. Understanding that they are working in someone’s personal home or office, the crew is courteous and respectful of both you and your property. They have a commitment to integrity, quality, trust, and client satisfaction.
Trade Partners
Depending on the scope of work of the project, it may be necessary to bring in specialty trades such as drywall or plumbing to fulfill the project. Masterworks has long standing relationships with its trade partners (subcontractors), many for over fifteen years. They are the “cream of the crop” in their fields. We consider our trade partners as part of our crew when they work on our jobs and they will treat you and your property with the same care and respect.
